When is the proper time for Du`a' Al-Istikharah (supplication for guidance); before or after Taslim (salutation of peace ending the Prayer)?

Du`a' Al-Istikharah should be said after Taslim.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
